Security
At Rukkor, security isn't optional — it's the foundation. This article explains how Rukkor protects your data, how we handle privacy, and what tools are available to you to keep your account secure.
European data storage
All data in Rukkor is stored on servers within the EU. This means your files, messages, and conversations never leave European jurisdiction — giving you full protection under European data privacy law.
GDPR compliance
Rukkor is fully GDPR-compliant. We handle your personal data transparently and only process it for the purposes you have agreed to. You always retain control over your own data. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Encryption
All communication in Rukkor — from video meetings and voice calls to file sharing and messages — is protected by advanced encryption. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and all integrations use encrypted data transfer with strict authentication.
No ads. No tracking.
Rukkor is completely ad-free and tracking-free. We do not sell your data, show you targeted advertising, or share your information with third parties for commercial purposes. Your workspace is yours.
AI and privacy
Wingman, Rukkor's built-in AI assistant, only works with information you explicitly approve. It operates within a secure, privacy-first environment — it cannot access your channels, boards, or files without your permission.
Secure your account
You can take several steps to protect your own account:
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Enable two-factor authentication under Settings → Profile → Two-factor authentication. This adds an extra layer of security — even if someone gets hold of your password, they can't access your account without the second verification step.
Strong password
Use a unique password for Rukkor that you don't use elsewhere. Change it at any time under Settings → Profile → Change password.
Review logged-in devices
Check which devices are currently logged into your account under Settings → Security. If you see a device you don't recognize, you can log it out remotely.
Keep your email address up to date
Your email is used to verify your identity and send important notifications. Make sure it's always current under Settings → Profile.
→ Manage your account settings
