Recommended browser

Geometra is web-based and works in your browser. For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome and keeping it updated to the latest version. Some issues users encounter are caused by running an unsupported or outdated browser.

Clear cache

If Geometra isn't loading correctly or behaving unexpectedly, start by doing a hard reload — press Ctrl + Shift + R. This forces the browser to reload the page and ignore cached content, and resolves most issues in seconds.

If the problem persists after a hard reload, the next step is to clear your browser cache fully.

Follow these steps:

  1. Press F12 to open the browser developer tools.
  2. Go to the Application tab.
  3. Select Storage in the left-hand column.
  4. Make sure the box "including third-party cookies" is checked.
  5. Click "Clear site data".
  6. Reload the page using Ctrl + R or F5.

Login issues

  • If you're unable to log in, try the following:
    • Make sure you're using the correct email address associated with your account.
    • Use the Forgot password link on the login page to reset your password.
    • If your account appears to be locked or you're unable to reset your password, contact us at support@rukkor.com and we'll sort it out.
  • Scale is incorrect — measurements are wrong

If your measurements don't match reality, the drawing scale is likely not set correctly. Make sure the scale is set before you start measuring. You can set and adjust the scale using Ctrl + 0 or by selecting the Scale tool in the toolbar.

Objects don't appear in the estimate tree

Objects only appear in the estimate tree once they have been placed on a drawing using one of the markup tools. If you've placed an object but can't see it in the tree, check that you're looking in the correct estimate and that the object hasn't been placed in a folder that is collapsed.

Rows are missing from the export

If rows aren't appearing in your export, the most common cause is that the wrong items are selected in the estimate tree. Make sure both the relevant folders or objects in the estimate tree and the corresponding rows are checked before exporting.

Export file has the wrong delimiter (CSV)

If your CSV file doesn't open correctly in Excel, the delimiter may be wrong. Geometra follows your operating system's language settings — if your system uses a comma but Excel expects a semicolon (or vice versa), the columns won't separate correctly. Check your system language settings or try opening the file with a text editor to verify the delimiter being used.

Performance — working with large files

If Geometra feels slow when working with large projects or heavy PDF files, these tips can help:

    • Split large PDF files into smaller ones before uploading.
    • Use compressed PDFs where possible.
    • Work with one file at a time rather than keeping many open simultaneously.
    • Make sure your browser and operating system are up to date.

    Still need help?

If none of the above resolves your issue, please contact us at support@rukkor.com and describe what you're experiencing. The more detail you can give us — such as what you were doing when the issue occurred and which browser you're using — the faster we can help.
