What is a space?

A space is a digital environment where your team or community can collaborate. You control roles, permissions, and who has access.

How to create a Space

Click the hamburger menu and select “Create Space”. Choose between a community space or a workspace. Here you can decide whether participants use their real names or aliases, and assign roles with the appropriate permissions.

Types of spaces

Community Space:
Open and searchable spaces that anyone can join. Aliases are often used, though sometimes real identities are displayed.

Workspace:
Closed spaces that require an invitation to join. Real names and identities are typically used.

Invite others

You can invite others by searching for their email address or username/alias. The person will receive an invitation via email or in the Rukkor app.

Join a Space

When someone invites you to a space, you will get a notification in the app and an email. You can then choose to accept or decline the invitation.
