Channels
In each space, you can create channels for topics, products, departments, or projects. Choose between public and private channels, and gather your team’s chat, video calls, meetings, and tasks all in one place. With threads, you can keep conversations and work materials organized around specific tasks – perfect for clear and coherent discussions.
What is a category?
A category can represent project types, business areas, workgroups, teams, or departments. Each category can have its own custom fields and settings.
At the category level, you configure the fields that apply to the workflows within that category. Depending on your tasks, you can add fields such as:
- Project manager
- Completion dates
- Other relevant details
Create a category:
Click the menu in your space and select "Create category".
What is a channel?
In each space, you can create channels that organize your work by topics, products, departments, or projects.
In a channel, you and your team can:
- Chat
- Make video calls
- Hold meetings
- Manage tasks
- Handle all other workflow-related activities
You can choose between two types of channels:
- Public channel: Accessible to all users with permission based on their role.
- Private channel: Only accessible to those who are directly invited, regardless of permissions.
Create a channel:
Click the menu in your space and select "Create flow".
What is a thread?
A thread is used within each channel to keep conversations and work materials organized around specific tasks or topics. Perfect for clear, coherent discussions.
Create a thread:
Right-click the channel and select "Create thread".
