New platform, smarter tools – and a challenge you won’t want to miss at Nordbygg

At Nordbygg in April 2026, we’re taking a major step forward. For the first time, we’re showcasing our new platform, Rukkor, to a wider audience – one of our most important investments for the future.

Of course, we’ll also be demonstrating Geometra in our stand. We caught up with our CEO, Fredrik, to find out what you as a visitor can expect when you stop by.

Introducing Rukkor

Rukkor is developed in Sweden, with all data stored and secured within Europe. The platform is currently available in beta, bringing all your work together in one place. It enables seamless collaboration, communication and planning through flexible, customisable tools. After a long development period, we are now ready to open it up to a wider audience.

“The background is clear. During the pandemic, many companies were forced to quickly adapt to the digital tools already available on the market – often from American providers. Today, we see a growing need for alternatives,” says Fredrik.

With Rukkor, our aim is to offer exactly that: a European platform with the scope and capability to genuinely challenge the largest providers.

Geometra continues to evolve

Since Nordbygg 2024, where we introduced the new templates, development has continued at a rapid pace.

Today, several new features are in place, including a highlighter tool, perimeter measurement and a symbol library. The templates themselves have also been further refined and improved.

“We are currently reviewing the entire application in terms of performance, security and stability. All data has been updated, and we are aligning with the latest development standards. We hope that parts of this work will already be visible during the exhibition,” Fredrik explains.

When AI has to be 100% accurate – our approach in Geometra

AI is an area where interest is growing rapidly. More and more users are asking for intelligent features, and we already have an AI-based measurement function at prototype level in Geometra.

Under the right conditions, it can already deliver fully accurate results – but it’s not yet ready for wider release.

“It’s important to remember that in construction, engineering and cost estimation, AI requires a completely different level of accuracy. It’s not like generating an image. You can find plenty of impressive AI tools for construction online – but do they actually work in practice? Most of them don’t. That’s why we choose to be very cautious before releasing any AI functionality. It has to be completely reliable,” Fredrik concludes.

Integrations and future possibilities

We also continue to develop partnerships and integrations. Together with Bidcon and Wikells, we have made their building component libraries available directly within Geometra.

It is also possible to export data to the respective estimating software, and we see great potential to further refine these workflows going forward.

Don’t miss the challenge in our stand

Whether you’re curious about Rukkor, Geometra or our upcoming features, there’s an extra reason to stop by.

You’ll have the chance to take on the “Stötarna Challenge” – something we’re quite sure will bring both laughter and a bit of competitive spirit.

We look forward to welcoming you to stand C:01:08 at Nordbygg, 21–24 April 2026!
