Estimation Rows
Rows play an integral part of creating estimates in Geometra. You can make them more or less advanced based on your needs and they can also be used to track project progression as each row can have its own status.
Read more about using status here.
Adding rows
Adding rows to one or several objects is done by enter text in the field below the rows table and this will result in a row being inserted in current selection when pressing ‘Enter’. When entering only one word or value that will be placed in the ‘Segment’ column. Status will be automatically set to ‘Not started’ and you can start filling out the contents of the row by clicking it.
If you have any rows inserted anywhere in your project they will show up as possible matches for autocompletion as you start typing the insert field. Making inserting similar rows as already used in the project fast and accurate.

Inserting with Hyper
Using the character |, also known as hyper, you can divide up the row insertion directly and target specific columns. This feature allows you to also copy and paste rows to a colleague easily as they can quickly insert the same row in their project.
To insert a specific status using hyper you start by entering a number:
1. Not Started
2. In progress
3. Review
4. Complete
